Whether you already have experience behind the chair or are just beginning your career with a valid Ohio State Board Work Permit, we provide the training and support to help you grow.

WHAT MAKES BLO DIFFERENT?

No cuts. No color.

We specialize in blowouts, braids, updos, bridal and special occasion styling, extensions and makeup.

You don’t need to bring your own book of clients. Our team serves members, loyal guests, new clients, bridal parties and special events.

NO BLOWOUT EXPERIENCE? NO PROBLEM.

If you’re willing to learn and open to coaching, we’ll teach you Blo’s signature techniques and help you continue building your skills and confidence behind the chair.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Create beautiful blowouts and finished styles
• Perform braids, updos, bridal and special occasion styling
• Provide makeup and extension services or be willing to learn
• Deliver amazing customer service from the moment a guest walks in until they leave
• Be friendly, welcoming and build genuine connections with our guests
• Listen to each guest’s needs and help create an experience that makes them feel special and valued
• Confidently recommend products, memberships, service enhancements and future appointments based on each guest’s needs
• Help build guest loyalty and long-term relationships
• Work together with your team to create a positive, fun and professional environment
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Participate in ongoing training and education

LICENSE REQUIREMENT

Have your Ohio Cosmetology License? Great!

Still waiting to take your state board exam but already have a valid Ohio State Board Work Permit? You can apply too.

All experience levels are welcome. Salon experience is a plus, but not required.
